Meet Dr. Loki
Dr. Loki has been a California Board Certified Acupuncturist for over 15 years and has been practicing since 2008, after earning his Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM). In 2017, he achieved his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (D.A.O.M.) from Five Branches University, and in 2018, he became a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, nationally certified through the NCCAOM.
Dr. Loki is licensed and board-approved to practice in both California and Colorado, offering patients his expertise across state lines.

Loki has cultivated his acupuncture skills specializing in sports medicine / pain management with a collaborative team of doctors and specialists in Santa Cruz. In 2011, he became a part of the original team of owners at Communi-Qi Acupuncture. Here he specializes in all internal and external medical conditions, including pain, hormone balancing, fertility, emotional disorders, addiction, side effects treatments for cancer and weight loss.
Loki holds a Master’s in Medical Qi Gong. He went to China in 2008 & in 2010 was annointed as a Daoist priest within the lineage of the 81st Daoist sect in Longhu (“Dragon and Tiger”) Mountain at the Celestial Master’s Mansion in Southern China’s Jiangxi Province. Loki is also a long term in Buddhist practitioner of the Longchen Nyingtik lineage, which he practices everyday help balance physical, mental and spiritual well being. Along with this he Loves to enjoy time with his daughter Madeline, who he frequently visits in Denver CO! Finally his passion for the surf, ocean and mountains helps overflow his life with an abundance of Joy!
Education never stops with Loki. He also Offers Functional Medicine, Facial Rejuvenation and Peptide Therapy after having completed certification courses offered through the renowned IFM.org (Institute of Functional Medicine Online), Functional Medicine Fast Track & Dr. Kharrazian Institute of Functional Medicine to name a few, SSRP Institute and Aculift Micorneedling system! Dr. Loki holds a Doctorate in Medical Qi Gong and has cultivated a deep connection to Daoist and Buddhist practices. In 2008, he traveled to China, where he was anointed as a Daoist priest in the 81st Daoist sect at Longhu (“Dragon and Tiger”) Mountain in Jiangxi Province. Loki is also a dedicated Buddhist practitioner in the Longchen Nyingtik lineage, a practice he incorporates daily to foster balance in physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Passion for Family and Nature
When not practicing medicine, Loki enjoys spending time with his daughter, Madeline, who lives in Denver, CO. His love for surfing, the ocean, mountain biking and the mountains fuels his life with abundant joy and inspiration.

Brent Dauphin
L.Ac, IFMCP, ABORM
Brent Dauphin is a California Board licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and certified functional medicine Dr via Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Brent studied traditional Chinese medicine at Five Branches University where he completed over 3,200 hours of comprehensive clinical and theoretical training. During this time, Brent trained onsite at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. Brent also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego in psychology. In 2008, Brent and his wife Megan founded Revive Acupuncture with the goal of helping the Fremont community find optimal health and wellness.
Over the past decade, Brent Dauphin has worked extensively in pain management, treating injured workers within the worker’s compensation system. Brent holds advanced certifications in sports medicine & orthopedics, and specializes in the use of Motor Point Acupuncture, sometimes referred to as dry needling. In addition to his acupuncture training, Brent is trained and certified in Tuina, a form of Chinese massage used in conjunction with acupuncture for treating pain. Brent is also trained in the use of class IV hot laser therapy with the K-Laser, which he includes at no additional charge with pain management acupuncture sessions. Brent utilizes herbal medicine and he creates his own topical liniments that can be applied to areas of injury. This serves to accelerate and ensure proper healing.
Brent specializes in using Chinese medicine to treat infertility and he is an ABORM certified practitioner (Acupuncture Board of Reproductive Medicine). In addition to Chinese medicine, Brent is certified through the Institute for Function Medicine as a functional medicine practitioner. As a certified functional medicine practitioner, he is trained to identify and treat the root causes of chronic disease.
Brent places a lot of effort on achieving and maintaining optimal wellness for each patient. Surfing has been a high-level focus for Brent over three decades. He always looks for proven strategies of staying strong and healthy for himself and he brings this focus on living healthy to his patients. In addition to treating pain management and infertility, Brent enjoys treating conditions such as autoimmunity, digestive health issues, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Every patient is unique and requires a comprehensive holistic approach to achieve optimal health.
